I was a bit worried about the machining tolerances, but this hook screwed on perfectly and feels just as sturdy as the original. The threading is clean and it locks into place without any wobble, which is exactly what I needed for hanging my bag underneath.

Snapped right onto the center column and feels identical to the original. Nice that they sell just the hook instead of making you buy the whole column. Mine lives in my bag now as a spare.

Lost the original hook somewhere in Iceland and figured I'd have to buy a whole new column. This replacement threaded on in seconds and the fit is identical to the one that came with the tripod. Weirdly relieved you can get this little part on its own.
